A four-vehicle collision has closed both the north and southbound lanes on Golf Links Road south of the Harbour Expressway.
The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. Thursday and little details are known at this time.
East and west traffic on the expressway is open, but police are asking the pubilc to avoid the area.
Live wires are believed to be on the ground; Thunder Bay Hydro will be on the scene shortly.
An ambulance was on scene and debris was scattered across the roadway.
