THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay residents can put out a third garbage item with no tag on the first collection date after the Victoria Day holiday.
In a release, the city asked residents to continue efforts to reduce waste despite the allowance.
"Reducing waste saves energy, time, money, and valuable natural resources," the city said. "By making small changes to reduce waste in our everyday lives, it can make a powerful difference.
Residents can view waste collection schedules and access more information at the city's website.
