THUNDER BAY – Luca Fasciano’s stint with the Lakehead Thunderwolves was short-lived.

The offensive-minded defenceman, who spent two seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League and one in the North American Hockey League before joining LU last season, has transferred to the Michigan Tech Huskies.

The 6-foot-3 Fasciano, who hails from Toronto, was an OUA West all-rookie team selection in 2024-25, scoring five times and adding 14 assists in 28 regular-season appearances.

The Thunderwolves have had a busy recruiting season, adding six new faces to the 2035-26 lineup, including defencemen Tait Ross and Marko Stojkov.

Their latest addition is Californian Zane Rowan, a forward who scored eight goals and 21 points in 37 games for the NAHL’s Bismarck Bobcats.
