WAWA, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police have re-opened a section of the Trans-Canada Highway north of Lake Superior that was closed following a fatal collision.
A brief OPP statement said only that the accident occurred around 10:20 p.m. Sunday at a location 15 kilometres south of Wawa in Lendrum Township.
Both lanes of the highway were closed until about 1:30 PM Monday between Wawa and Batchawana.
Police were expected to release more details about the collision later in the day.
