NEEBING -- An accident claimed the life of a worker at a construction site in Neebing on Monday, Ontario's Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development has confirmed.
The ministry received reports that a worker was run over by a truck, causing fatal injuries, said a representative.
The constructor on the project is Bayview Renovations & Contracting, while the direct employer of the worker was contractor Allen Equipment Contracting Corp.
Ministry inspectors attended the scene and issued two orders and two requirements to Bayview, and 12 requirements to Allen Equipment Contracting.
Details on those orders and requirements are not available, as an investigation of the incident is ongoing, the ministry said.
