Federal inmate sought by OPP

THUNDER BAY -- A federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is known to frequent Northwestern Ontario. 

Ontario Provincial Police on Wednesday night say 37-year-old Jason Lebreton is wanted for breach of parole. Lebreton is a Caucasian male, standing 5-foot-9 and 192 pounds. 

Lebreton is serving a 57-month sentence for theft, possession of property obtained by crime, fraud, mischief, criminal harassment, taking a motor vehicle without consent, failure to appear and failing to comply with a recognizance. 

Lebreton is also known to frequent Sudbury, Ottawa, Windsor and the Greater Toronto Area. 

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the provincial ROPE squad at 1-416-808-5900 or toll-free at 1-866-870-7673. One can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
