Federal inmate sought for parole violation

THUNDER BAY – An arsonist serving an eight-year, six-month sentence is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant and is known to frequent the Thunder Bay area.

Douglas Archer, 65, is being sought for breach of parole.

He’s a Caucasian male, standing 5-foot-8, weighing in at 241 pounds.

Archer has white/blond hair and blue eyes.

He was jailed for two counts of mischief to property, arson with disregard for human life, 10 counts of arson causing damage to property, attempted arson, criminal harassment, possession of incendiary materials and two counts of mischief under $5,000.

Archer is also known to have ties to Kingston and Oxford County.
