THUNDER BAY — A Thunder Bay woman faces multiple charges after a New Year's Day incident in the 500 block of Kingsway in which three people were attacked.
Police were dispatched at about 2:45 a.m. for a reported weapons incident.
Paramedics also responded.
Investigating officers learned that an altercation had taken place in a residence.
Two women sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds.
During the incident, others inside the home attempted to flee, but there was another altercation in which a third woman was assaulted.
Police identified and located a suspect just before 3:15 a.m.
A 20-year-old Thunder Bay woman is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
She was remanded into custody after an appearance in bail court.
