Fighting Walleye blank Norskies again

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. -- Make it back-to-back-shutouts for Austin Madge.

The Kam River Fighting Walleye goaltender made 26 stops on Saturday night leading his team to a 6-0 win over the host Thief River Falls North Stars, the team's ninth straight triumph.

Ethan Lang, Jeremy Dunmore and Alex Enegren had a goal and assist apiece to pace the offensive attack, as the Fighting Walleye improved to 19-3-1 on the season. Carson Gorst and Tyler Ralph also scored for Kam River.

Red Lake 12, Wisconsin 3: The Miners (14-3-2) got a hat trick of hat tricks to cut down the Lumberjacks. Ryan Hunter, Brady Harroun and Nic Bolin each scored three times, the Miners breaking open a 2-1 game with six unanswered goals in the second period.

Dryden 6, Fort Frances 3: Maxime Collette, the Superior International Junior Hockey League's leading point-getter, scored twice and added an assist as the Ice Dogs double up the last-place Lakers (2-16-0).
