THUNDER BAY – The Kam River Fighting Walleye are helping feed the hungry over the holidays.

The Superior International Junior Hockey League team is asking fans to held ‘stuff the bus’ with non-perishable food items at their home games on Thursday and Friday night. The team bus will also be parked outside of Sportop Marketing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

During Friday night’s games, the Fighting Walleye will also be accepting donations to the Thunder Bay Professional Firefighters’ Toys for Tots campaign, which provides gifts to children who might otherwise go without.

Tickets to both games may be purchased online at www.fightingwalley.com, or at the door.
