THUNDER BAY - A north side garage suffered extensive damage after a blaze broke out early Thursday evening.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews were called to a home on the corner of Windemere Avenue and Sydney Street where the backyard structure was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the garage, though the home sustained heat damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
