THUNDER BAY -- Investigators say they now believe they have discovered the cause of a fire that caused extensive damage to a north side home Tuesday morning.
Emergency personnel were called to this Regent Street residence Tuesday just before 10 a.m. and arrived to find the third floor fully engulfed in flame.
Six fire crews responded to the blaze.
An inspection of the scene has traced the cause to an electrical problem on that third floor, where renovations had been taking place.
No one was home at the time the fire broke out and there were no injuries.
