Firefighters investigating cause of Current River fire

Firefighters are investigating a suspicious blaze that took place in the Current River area Wednesday evening. Thunder Bay Fire Service crews responded to a call on Grenville Avenue Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m.

Firefighters are investigating a suspicious blaze that took place in the Current River area Wednesday evening. 

Thunder Bay Fire Service crews responded to a call on Grenville Avenue Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m. 

Firefighters say a fire in the basement of the structure was quickly extinguished. 

Suspicions over the origin of the fire were raised because the building has been abandoned for an extended time.
