The first candidate for the Catholic District School Board has stepped forward.
Incumbent Kathy O’Brien will run for the school board in the upcoming November municipal election. She made her candidacy when she recently filed her nomination papers.
Several people have stepped forward as candidates for the ward and at-large councillor positions, however, O’Brien is the first person to file as a candidate for a school board trustee in the upcoming election.
