Five new COVID-19 cases in Thunder Bay area

There are now 41 active cases in the TBDHU's jurisdiction.

THUNDER BAY — In what has become virtually a daily occurrence over the past 10 days, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting additional  COVID-19 cases.

The TBDHU announced Monday morning there are five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the city and area, which includes the townships immediately surrounding Thunder Bay.

The exposure categories are all close contact, and all patients are self-isolating. 

The episode dates range from Nov. 4 to Nov. 16.

There are currently 41 active cases of COVID-19 in the TBDHU's jurisdiction.

So far this year, the district has seen 165 cases.
