OPP say no one was hurt when rolls of carpet underlay flew out from the back of a Ford pick-up truck on Highway 11/17 east of Oliver Road.

The driver of the pick-up truck, who turned around to retrieve his load, has been charged with having an insecure load contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

The driver of an eastbound Hyundai SUV stopped upon seeing the underlay on the highway, leading a Pontiac Grand Prix to stop behind him.

The second car was subsequently struck from behind by a Honda Pilot and sustained extensive damage.
