THUNDER BAY – Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the Thunder Bay area.
Patches of dense fog have formed and could significantly impact visibility, the agency warned in an advisory shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
It urged drivers to turn on their lights and maintain a safe following distance.
Areas of locally dense fog were expected to dissipate by later Tuesday morning.
Environment Canada issued similar advisories for the Cloud Bay-Dorian and Nipigon-Rossport area Tuesday morning.
