Charges have been laid following the uncovering of financial irregularities at a local auto dealership.
Officials with Badanai Motors contacted police after discovering discrepancies in their financial records.
An investigation confirmed that accounts had been manipulated and cash taken from the business between September of 2006 and March of 2008.
Total losses by the company come to almost $160,000.
As a result of the investigation, police charged a 39-year-old former company accounting clerk with fraud, theft and falsifying documents.
