Fort Frances man nabbed for impaired driving

FORT FRANCES, Ont. – A Fort Frances man will be making a court appearance later this month.

Rainy River OPP observed a vehicle being driven by a man on Tuesday afternoon who was known to be under suspension for a criminal driving offence.

Police initiated a traffic stop at 3 p.m. on Scott Street in Fort Frances and as a result a 50-year-old has been charged and the vehicle has been impounded for 45 days.

He will appear in Fort Frances Court on Feb. 24 to answer to his charges.
