FORT FRANCES, Ont. - The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 52-year-old Fort Frances man.
According to an OPP media release, officers with the Fort Frances detachment were conducting a property check on the 800 block of Scott Street in Fort Frances just after 9 a.m. on July 5.
During the search, officers located a deceased male in an outbuilding.
The man has been identified as 52-year-old Thomas Roen of Fort Frances. A post-mortem examination took place in Toronto on July 8.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and there is no public safety concerns.
