FORT FRANCES – One woman was arrested and charged on Sunday following an attempted traffic stop.
OPP officers responded to a report of a possible suspended driver in the east end of Fort Frances on Sunday afternoon.
Police attempted a traffic stop, but the driver failed to stop for the police.
They followed the motor vehicle to a residence on the 900 Block of Christie Avenue.
The 39-year-old woman of Fort Frances was arrested at the scene and transported to the OPP Detachment for breath tests.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for a mandatory seven days.
