THUNDER BAY - The death of a 34-year-old woman on the Pacific Avenue is not considered to be a homicide.
The Thunder Bay Police Service issued a media release Tuesday morning, announcing at this stage in the investigation foul play is not indicated to be a cause in the Friday night death.
A post mortem examination was conducted in Thunder Bay on Monday.
Police were called the bridge around 10 p.m. last Friday night after passersby on the bridge that connects Simpson Street to the East End called 911. Officers attempted life-saving procedures at the scene but the woman was pronounced dead in hospital.
During the weekend police said the woman was not struck by a vehicle.
