Nishnawbe-Aski Police have released more details from last week's fatal blaze in Nibinamik that claimed the lives of two small children.
Post-mortems were to have been conducted Monday on the two- and three-year-old boys who were killed in the fire. Their six month old sister remains in critical condition at the London Children's Hospital, suffering from breathing complications.
The only other occupants of the home at the time of the blaze, the children's parents, escaped without major injury.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined, although investigators do not suspect foul play.
The Nibinamik First Nation is located about 500-kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay.
