Four arrested after police search pair of Ambrose Street homes

Police seized suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

THUNDER BAY — Four local residents face charges after a pair of search warrants were executed at north-side homes on Wednesday.

Thunder Bay police said the two warrants were executed simultaneously on the 200 block of Ambrose Street as a result of ongoing investigation into drug trafficking at those locations.

Police said the search resulted in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

The four suspects were arrested and taken into custody.

A 44-year-old Thunder Bay man is charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, and breach of recognizance.

Three others — a 56-year-old, 33-year-old, and a 54-year-old — are each charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

All four appeared in court on Thursday and remain in custody.
