Four new COVID-19 cases announced

All four cases reside in district communities.

THUNDER BAY – After a weekend when 23 new cases were announced in the District of Thunder Bay, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit only announced four new COVID-19 cases on Monday.

Another 16 cases are deemed to be resolved.

All four cases were reported in district communities. The health unit did not specify which communities the cases were diagnosed in.

The district has seen 732 cases since the pandemic began, with 631 considered resolved and 26 deaths. There are 75 cases currently considered active.

Three people are in hospital, including one in intensive care.
