THUNDER BAY — A fourth resident of the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home has passed away after contracting the COVID-19 virus.
The company made the announcement on its website this morning.
The number of active cases involving either residents or staff at Southbridge Roseview has also climbed to 73, an increase of 12 from Monday.
A total of 47 residents and 26 staff at the Shuniah Street facility are affected.
On Tuesday, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit reported nine new positive COVID-19 test results at the nursing home, following surveillance testing on all residents and staff which was conducted Sunday .
