THUNDER BAY – Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Thunder Bay.
Environment Canada said a significant storm will move into the region Tuesday evening with a mix of ice pellets and freezing rain, which will develop around midnight.
There is a chance for the freezing rain to continue through early Thursday morning.
The weather service said periods of moderate freezing rain along with five centimetres of ice pellets is expected.
