The Friends of the Thunder Bay Public Library are pleased to announce that they will reopen their Southside Book Nook, located in Victoriaville Centre, on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021.

The Friends have operated the used bookstore in Victoriaville for many years, and are looking forward to reopening for sales once again. The store is stocked with books and audio visual material which has been withdrawn from the Library as well as donated books and other materials from the public.

The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday,10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

All proceeds from the bookstore are donated back to the Thunder Bay Public Library for new collections, services, equipment and programs. The store is staffed by volunteers who are members of the Friends of the Library group. The Friends will be limiting the number of people allowed in the store at any one time. Masks will be mandatory and other COVID protocols such as physical distancing will be followed. The Friends have also mandated vaccines for any volunteer working with the public.
