THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews quickly doused a garage fire early Saturday morning.

In a relase, TBFR says they were called to 300 North Syndicate Ave. at about 6:30 a.m., where they encountered smoke coming from the detached garage. A second alarm was called and crews gained access through the structure's main door. It was quickly brought under control and there were no injuries.

Five pumpers, an aerial ladder and the platoon chief attended the fire.

The cause is still under investigation.
