Gas Watch: Pump prices down again

THUNDER BAY -- Local motorists can expect a reprieve at the pumps, but for just how long is uncertain.

The price of regular gasoline dropped to just below a dollar-a-litre at several gas bars across the city recently.

It is about four cents-a-litre below the Ontario average.

According to the Ontario Gas Prices, an online gas-price watchdog, the average Ontario motorists is paying about $1.036-per litre of regular unleaded fuel.

The lowest price in the Thunder Bay area is the Shell on Red River Road, where gas is priced at 99.4 cents-a-litre.
