Geraldton man arrested for string of break and enters

An 18-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court following a string of recent break and enters.

GERALDTON, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple break and enters at a storage building in Geraldton.

OPP were called to investigate several break and enters that occurred recently at a Municipal storage building located at 306 First Avenue Northwest.

The building had been broken into several times in the previous months resulting in damage to the building and the theft of various items.

In an effort to solve these offences, police reached out to the public to identify the unknown male pictured in surveillance photos.

As a result of the investigation and public assistance, an 18-year-old Geraldton man was charged with two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence and two counts of breaking, entering and committing an indictable offence.

He is scheduled to appear in court on June 7.
