THUNDER BAY -- After a summer of major construction, a stretch of Golf Links Road is set to reopen to traffic Monday.
City of Thunder Bay officials on Friday announced the partial reopening for the stretch of Golf Links Road between Oliver Road and John Street.
One southbound lane and one northbound lane will be open to vehicular traffic Monday, Nov. 10.
But that doesn’t mean the road work is done.
City officials say remaining work includes the implementation of traffic lights at Golf Links Road and Riveria Drive. There’s also unfinished work to the east side boulevard, which is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
