St. Joseph's Foundation of Thunder Bay release
THUNDER BAY -- Returning for its 28th year, it’s the ever popular Grand-A-Day giveaway.
The Grand-A-Day draw began in 1992, and since then it has awarded more than $1.2 million in prizes and raised more than $1.9 million on behalf of St. Joseph’s Care Group for the purchase capital equipment such as beds, therapeutic equipment, lifts, and special equipment for the comfort and safety of clients.
This annual fundraiser gives ticket purchasers a chance to win $1,000 each day in November along with early bird prizes. This year we are excited to announce a bigger grand prize of $15,000! The lucky winners are able to win more than once, as tickets are returned to the drum after each draw. With 49 draws, and only 1,500 tickets available, there are lots of changes to win.
Chair of St. Joseph’s Foundation Board of Directors Sandra Sutherland-Byers stated “This lottery is a popular fundraiser that receives tremendous support from the people of Thunder Bay and surrounding communities. We are very grateful to everyone who purchases tickets”.
Total cash prizes of $50,000 to be drawn include 13 early bird draws, draws every day in November for $1,000 each and a new and bigger grand prize of $15,000
All tickets are in the drum for all draws.
