Greenstone man charged with drug-impaired driving

GREENSTONE – A 30-year-old Greenstone man has been charged with drug-impaired driving.

Ontario Provincial Police, in a release issued Friday, said police received two calls reporting an impaired male in the driver seat of a blue van at the Woodcrest Confectionary in Longlac.

Following an investigation, the 30-year-old was arrested and transported to the Geraldton District Hospital to provide blood samples.

The driver was charged with drug-impaired driving.

He will appear in court August 16 to answer to the charge.
