While the debate continues here in Thunder Bay over the impact of a potential wind park in Neebing, it appears another Ontario community is about to take a serious look at the issue.
Officials in Grey Bruce County on Georgian Bay want to investigate what kind of impact wind turbines might have on a person’s health. The region's medical officer of health is looking into how an independent study on the matter would proceed.
Hazel Lynn is researching who would do it, how they would go about it, and where the money would come from.
Lynn said it should be done by an independent body, such as a university.
