THUNDER BAY - The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Thunder Bay is raising money for their 28th home build in the city.
They've challenged eight teams to refurnish items from the ReStore to be sold at a local furniture store.
The second annual ReStore It: Up-Cycle Challenge is now on as eight teams transformed 12 pieces of old furniture from the ReStore.
Last year, the items were put up for auction. But this year, they're up for sale at Reid's Countrywide Home Furnishings.
Habitat for Humanity Fund Coordinator Amber Prairie said all money raised will go towards building an accessible home for a boy with cerebral palsy and his family.
The refurnished pieces will be on sale at Reid's until June 30.
Prairie said three awards will be given out this year for Most Transformed, Most Creative, and Most Liked items on Facebook.
