YARMOUTH, N.S. — It’s been a rough couple of days for both Team Ontario representatives at the Canadian Senior Curling Championships.

Tracey Larocque, representing the Fort William Curling Club, was crushed 14-2 in Tuesday morning’s Draw 7, falling to 1-2 after their loss to Saskatchewan’s Sherry Anderson, the event’s four-time defending champion.

Anderson, a two-time senior world curling championship, scored three in the first and five more in the third to put the match away early.

On the men’s side, Thunder Bay’s Al Hackner dropped a third straight decision, doubled up 8-4 by Quebec’s Francois Ruberge.

Hackner on Monday opened with losses against Ontario and Nova Scotia. The foursome, which includes lead Gary Champagne, second Rob Sinclair and third Frank Morissette, will take on Yukon on Tuesday afternoon.
