Heavy snowfall expected on Thursday

Up to 15 centimetres could fall on Thunder Bay overnight and into Thursday evening.

THUNDER BAY – Old Man Winter still has some life left in him.

Spring may be a little more than two weeks away, but a winter storm warning has been put into effect in Thunder Bay, with between 10 centimetres to 15 centimetres of snow being called to fall on the city on Thursday.

The snowfall is expected to be heavy at times, ending in the late afternoon or early evening.

According to Environment Canada, the snow is expected to begin overnight.

The heaviest snow is expected on Thursday morning and into the afternoon.
