THUNDER BAY — A stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway was closed east of Thunder Bay on Wednesday due to a collision.
Shortly before 1 p.m., the Ministry of Transportation reported that all lanes of Highway 11/17 between Highway 587 and Highway 628 were shut down.
Traffic control was in place.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
There was no indication how long the closure would remain in effect.
