THUNDER BAY — Highway 17 is open after a large section was closed due to a collision Tuesday night.
The Ministry of Transportation initially reported the closure between Sistonen's Corners and Ignace early in the evening.
At the time, traffic control was in place but no detour was available.
Provincial police announced just after midnight that the highway was reopened.
No details about the collision have been released.
