WAWA, Ont. — A 160-kilometre stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway south of Wawa was closed late Wednesday morning.
According to Ontario 511, Highway 17 is closed in both directions between Wawa and Batchawana, because of weather conditions.
Environment Canada issued a Winter Storm Warning for that area.
There is no indication how long the road closure might last.
