Highway 17 open to one late of traffic west of Ignace

A collision involving a pair of tractor trailers led to the closure in both directions of Highway 17, 60 kilometers west of Ignace. The highway has since reopened to one lane of traffic.

A collision involving a pair of tractor trailers led to the closure in both directions of Highway 17, 60 kilometers west of Ignace.

The highway has since reopened to one lane of traffic.

In a release issued on Sunday morning, police say one of the two trucks in in the ditch, the other rolled over on the highway, completey blocking both lanes.

The investigation continues.
