HYMERS - A large section of Highway 588 is closed in both directions due to a large structural fire in the area.
The Highway remains closed between Harstone Road near Stanley to the Highway 595 Junction near Hymers.
Fire crews are on the scene of a building fire and traffic controls are in place. Drivers are asked to use extreme caution in the area.
There is no word yet on how long the closure will be in place.
