Highway closed between Dryden and Wabigoon

Collision involving a transport is behind the closure, which was reported at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

DRYDEN, Ont. -- A stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway is closed between Dryden and Wabigoon. 

According to the Ministry of Transportation, a collision involving a transport truck is the reason behind the Highway 17 closure, which was reported just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday. 

There is no detour available and the MTO did not give an estimate of how long the highway will be closed to traffic.
