THUNDER BAY -- Police have located a pickup truck believed to be involved in a serious hit and run on the city's north side.

On Wednesday, officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service Police reached out to the public for help locating the pick-up truck involved in a hit-and-run crash. Police say the Dodge Ram pick-up truck allegedly ran a stop sign on Angus Street and crashed into the side of a southbound SUV on Court Street.

The SUV was demolished in the supper-hour collision last Friday and the driver of the pick-up truck failed to remain at the scene.

Police released an update into that investigation Wednesday afternoon declaring that they had located the pickup truck believed to be involved in the crash.
