Hit and run suspect now faces impaired driving charge

Police have filed more charges against a 21-year old Thunder Bay woman in connection with last week's hit and run on Leslie Avenue.

The suspect was originally charged with failing to stop at the scene causing bodily harm, after turning herself in to police last week. Sgt. Glenn Porter said the woman has now been charged with impaired driving.

The victim, 18-year-old Amy Neumueller was sent to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to fair condition.
