Mayor Keith Hobbs is turning down a challenge from his Toronto mayoral counterpart to trim the fat over the next six months.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford weighed in at 330 pounds on Monday and has announced he hopes to lose 50 pounds between now and July.
The Toronto Mayor has challenged other mayors across North America to join him in his Cut-the-Waist challenge.
Hobbs said he doesn't feel the need to answer Ford's challenge, and said he's already lost 14 pounds by following his own weight-loss schedule.
Ford added that he will try not to eat late at night and exercise more in an effort to meet his target.
