THUNDER BAY -- Whoever won a Maxmillions prize with a Lotto Max ticket recently sold in Thunder Bay is now aware of their good fortune.

OLG confirmed Wednesday afternoon that the holder of that ticket has validated it.

That means the individual knows their ticket, drawn on December 22, is worth $1 million.

It is one of seven Maxmillions tickets that were sold across Ontario for the same draw.

An OLG spokesperson told tbnewswatch.com that although the ticket has now been validated, the holder has yet to contact OLG to claim their winnings.

Because of the Christmas and Boxing Day holidays, Wednesday was the first day since the draw that winners were able to get in touch with OLG.
