THUNDER BAY -- Sudbury restaurateurs John Law and Jolie Nguyen have expanded their signature restaurant Lot 88 Steakhouse & Bar to the Thunder Bay area.

This dynamic duo originally lived in Thunder Bay for years before moving to Sudbury, and now they have returned to their roots with culinary content. This will be the fifth city for their unique lava rock cooking concept. The menu is that of a traditional steakhouse with a modern twist and guests have the option of cooking their desired fare right at the table on the lava stone. It is truly where you make the steak great. You can also order directly from the grill if that is your preference.

According to Lot 88 Steakhouse & Bar launch consultant, Freddy Brizzi “Lot 88 Steakhouse & Bar is unique in Northern Ontario and we are very excited that we have now entered the Thunder Bay market. The menu is Asian inspired along with a variety of traditional steak selections and delectable cocktails. We opened our doors last week with a soft launch on the patio and we cannot wait to host our grand opening when our guests can also enjoy the dining room.” John, Jolie and Freddy are excited to share this new culinary venture and encourage the Thunder Bay community to experience the home of the hot stone.
