Homeowner captures intruder, hands suspect over to police

A homeowner captured an alleged intruder early Wednesday. Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say two men entered a home on the 500 block of South Marks Street after 1:30 a.m.

A homeowner captured an alleged intruder early Wednesday.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say two men entered a home on the 500 block of South Marks Street after 1:30 a.m.

The homeowner was able to capture one of the men and hold him until police arrived.

A 20-year-old Webequie First Nation man is now facing charges.

The second suspect managed to escape.

Police say no injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
